The Ask

GoldenKey Overseas approached us with the goal of establishing a strong digital presence that reflects their premium brand, showcases their product portfolio, and helps build credibility with international partners and clients. They needed a modern, responsive website that would:

The Engagement

The engagement began with a discovery call and requirement gathering session. The client emphasized the need for a sleek yet professional WordPress website, optimized for performance and scalable for future content additions, including downloadable technical sheets, product catalogues, and regional project showcases. Our team was tasked with end-to-end delivery—from planning and design to launch and maintenance.

CHALLENGES

We encountered challenges with plugin selection, production behaviour and maintaining effective communication with teams.

Construction chemicals are technical and not visually engaging, requiring smart ways to present data attractively.

The client had limited marketing content, which meant we had to guide the copywriting and content structuring process.

The client requested the website to go live within a tight timeline to align with a major industry event.

The website needed to appeal to both regional clients in the GCC and international partners.

  • Functional Development and Analysis: The development is done according to the sprints set during estimation. During the code commit, static code analyzers like eslint are run to identify and fix any issues with the code.

  • Unit Testing and Review: The developers raise a Pull Request (PR) on Github, which triggers GitHub Actions to run the SonarQube and unit tests. The Technical Leader and other developers review the PR and ensure everything looks good before merging it.

Testing

  • Manual Testing and Automated Testing: The app undergoes thorough testing to ensure it is free of bugs and glitches. 

Seemless Deployment

  • Seamless Deployment: Once the PR is merged, our CI/CD pipeline ensures the app is automatically deployed to the domain, enabling a smooth and efficient launch with CircleCI-powered automation.

Maintenance and Upgrades

  • Security Testing: We regularly perform security testing of the app to ensure it is secure and protected against potential vulnerabilities.

  • Analytics and Monitoring: Analytics tools track user behavior and app usage, which can inform future updates and improvements.

  • Platform-specific Considerations: Platform-specific guidelines and best practices are adhered to ensure that the app meets the standards of the app store or play store it is released.
